Elbert M. Hartman, MA, CAC III is the Clinical
Director of the Center for Change, a full service
agency offering state of the art therapeutic
services to our community. Elbert earned his
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology
from Naropa University. His specialties include
working with individuals, couples and families
focusing on addiction, trauma, and relationship
dynamics.
Elbert has worked extensively with adults and
adolescents to improve relationships through
enhancing communication skills and cultivating
increased self confidence and self awareness.
Additionally, Elbert has provided therapy for
clients with a wide range of mental health
diagnoses including personality disorders,
anxiety, depression, Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder and addiction issues.
As a long-term meditation practitioner, Elbert
combines meditation with Gestalt psychotherapy,
EMDR and Enneagram typology to enhance the
effectiveness of psychotherapy.
